
Millennium BCP is the largest private bank in Portugal. The company has established an in-house agency to accelerate and streamline the development of communication assets. As a Digital Designer, my role is to support the digital marketing creative team by contributing ideas and visual concepts for marketing campaigns. Through close collaboration with various stakeholders across the organisation, we develop innovative strategies to enhance the communication of the bank’s products and services.
The Millennium App has been recognised as the best banking app in Portugal for several consecutive years, making it a central element of the bank’s communication strategy. The app enables clients to access a wide range of services entirely online, including mortgage applications and other banking solutions.
My role requires a diverse skill set, including art direction, UX/UI design for web and app assets, audiovisual and motion design for videos and micro-animations, and the development of creative assets for integrated marketing campaigns. In addition, I create and manage digital advertising campaigns across Meta and Google platforms, develop email marketing communications, and support the bank’s social media presence through the creation of engaging content and campaign materials. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are essential for working effectively with multiple departments specialising in different products and services.

The Make It project was an internal initiative aimed at developing and promoting Portugal’s technology sector, while also enhancing our brand perception among a younger audience. Through a technology competition for university students in IT-related fields, the bank awarded winners with financial prizes and potential job opportunities through partner companies.
I co-developed the project’s concept with the team and designed its visual identity. Inspired by coding and computer language, the identity features a geometric approach, with bold neon colors evoking youth, innovation, and technology.
